1. $10 off your first tandem - we leave this open to all people who arrange their skydive with the club, but when you think about it this discount practically pays for your membership dues

2. Club Tshirt!!!- We get a hellishly cool skydiving t-shirt printed up every year that are free to members. For none members these T-Shirts cost $15.

3. Skydiving Goodie Bag- Along with the T-Shirt you'll get a goodie bag full of all sorts of skydiving goodies (parachute men, closing loops, condoms....)

4. Free coaching- One of the most outstanding benefits of being a member. As a member of the skydiving club you will be entitle to free coaching for Skydiving Club Coaches. Your first 8 jumps after you graduate AFF have to be coach jumps which normally cost $65,.. Club Coaches will waive their fee which means that you will only have to pay for your slot and gear rental

5. Cheap club gear rental- The dropzone charges $30+/jump for rental of their gear. The club now has 3 very well maintained rigs that are available for members to rent for $5/jump. (the only reason we charge for rental is for maintance of the gear).

6. Free skydives at our annual trip to the Collegiate National Championship- Every year between Christmas and New Years the club takes a trip down to compete in the Collegiate National Championships. There members compete in areas such as 2-way, 4-way, style, freeflying, and accuracy. Not only is this the biggest gathering of college skydivers but Virginia Tech pays for us to compete.

7. Free Packing Classes- The are dropzones that actually charge to teach you how to pack your parachute. We believe this completely goes against the "put back in" mentality of skydiving. We offer all our members free packing classes taught by Woolly (certified rigger). We can work these classes to fit your schedule: any time of week, here at Tech or at the dropzone

8. Incentives to win free jumps- As a member, if you bring out 5 tandems, you get a free jump

9. Road trips to other dropzones such as Westpoint (VA), Chambersburg (PA), Lake Wales (FL), and Zhills (FL)- Weekends full of super hot skydiving and wild ass partying what more can you ask for? Always a must: Holloween Boogie @ Westpoint, New Years @ Z-Hills, and Valentines Boogie @ Westpoint

10. Comraderie with collegiate skydivers with jump numbers ranging from 0-2000+ ( member ratings include: coaches, tandem masters, AFF instructors, and Riggers) We have jumper of every skill level; those going through the AFF program and those teaching the AFF program; those doing tandems and those taking tandems; those being coached and those doing the coaching. You will find people interested in every facet of skydiving and all willing to help you become a better skydiver.
